Our client is a high precision component manufacturer to the Aerospace sector.
Role Description:
Reporting directly to Operations Director, the role of Operations Manager has responsibility for 100 staff covering Production, Production Control & Operations. Key focuses for this position will be driving lean initiatives which will deliver quality, cost and delivery improvements to the bottom line. This role is key to the companies continued growth, the main objective of this role is to lead the business through a "step change in operational performance". The role has a heavy emphasis on change management, which will include challenging the current status quo and delivering sustainable improvements in cost, productivity and waste reduction.

Personal Specification:
The ideal candidate will be educated to HND / Degree level and will have held a Senior Operations / Production Manager position within a precision aerospace engineering business. As Operations Manager, you must be able to demonstrate how you have led change and implemented sustainable improvements that have increased profitability. The candidate must have ability to successfully manage and challenge a skilled, multi-functional team.
