Our client are a leading FMCG manufacturer.
Role Description:
Reporting into the Engineering Team leader, working a 12 hour shift pattern, the main responsibilities of the role include;
- Completing planned maintenance utilising the Shire planned maintenance system and also carry out repairs on equipment break-down during the shift as required as specified by the Engineering Team leader.
- Work on any projects as specified by Engineering Management, these may include new plant installation, close down, production line transfers etc.
- Work closely with Production Management to ensure they are kept up to date with any issues during the shift which may affect output.
Personal Specification:
The ideal candidate will be an electrical biased, time served engineer with exposure to the FMCG sector. The candidate must be a good team player, who can demonstrate tenacity, flexibility and resilience and have a positive, "can-do" attitude. Previous experience of utilising Shire would be an advantage, as would PLC fault finding experience (Mitsubishi, Siemens S5 & S7 would be a distinct advantage.
