The role of Production Manager involves being responsible for c.80 people across two sites based in the Merseyside area covering sewing, RF welding, assembly and packing operations. Key focus for this position is day to day operational responsibility for the production facilities (including meeting daily production targets, production planning, production control and absence management). The implementation of lean initiatives to bring about improvements in efficiency and reductions in cost is also key to success in this role.
Personal Specification:
Person Specification
HND / Degree qualified Production Manager with a proven track record of delivering productivity improvements through the deployment of lean methodologies in a manufacturing environment. Experience of working within a cellular manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage. As Production Manager, you must have a strong character, be able to influence change and have a strong data collection/analysis background. Good working knowledge of Health and Safety is essential.
