Reporting into the Operations Support Manager, the role of Production Planner involves being responsible for accurately planning production using the master production schedule and ensuring customer demand is met. As Production planner, you will be responsible for reviewing materials requirements, issuing production plans and controlling plant capacity.
Personal Specification:
Person
You will be a Production Planner, Material Controller and have a manufacturing background. As Production Planner, you will have strong planning and organising skills together with ability to prioritise well. You should preferably possess diploma qualification or equivalent in manufacturing or engineering discipline. Experienced in modern planning techniques and methods, the Production Planner must have a high degree of computer literacy.
