Kensingtons is representing a solution provider based in Northern Germany, working in the Additive Manufacturing sector, who are looking to appoint an Application Specialist (with a focus on process chain consulting) who is passionate about technology and 3D printing.

The responsibilities:

  • Independent development of complex, technical and customer-specific problem solutions in the area of customer process chains, factory planning and economic considerations
  • Customer advice in the context of technical processes, factory planning and production economy
  • Development, implementation and planning of technical application training and technical workshops
  • Creation of economic considerations for production
  • Solving technically demanding tasks
  • Independent development of complex technical machine processes and customer-
  • specific problem solutions

Your skills:

• Engineering qualification/studies

• At least 3 years of professional experience in the fields of energy, automotive or aerospace

• Professional experience in the field of factory / process planning

• Experience in the field of powder bed based metal laser melting processes is desirable

• Joy and perseverance in solving technically unknown situations

• Strong communication and team skills

• Good analytical and conceptual skills

• Very good spoken and written English skills

• Security in dealing with the common MS Office applications

• Travel within Europe approx. 30%
