Managing production is easy.
Said no-one. Ever.
However, it can be easier if you’re making the same product daily. But where’s the fun in that?
How would you like to manage the assembly area of a well-established and extremely successful bespoke machine manufacturer who exports all over the world?
You’ll be able to use your experience in one-off and low-volume production environments to manage the production schedule, on long lead-time assemblies.
You can use your “circus skills” to juggle immediate spares orders or dispatching a team to attend a breakdown, without disrupting the day to day production.
The main point is that you won’t be bored. This is a very innovative and growing company so new products are always being designed and you’ll need to work with the design team relaying data back from the shop floor.
There’s also a Lean/CI element to this role so a knowledge of CI tools and their implementation will be required along with training and developing the team.
So, if you’re ready for a new challenge, contact me on 01257 244740 to discuss further.
