As a Business Development Executive you’ll probably know how challenging it is in the business world to break down doors into customers but you’ll love the challenge of doing so and the feeling of achievement when you’ve finally landed a key account. However you may now be looking for a role with greater autonomy where you can work directly with Directors of the company to forge a strategy, identify and develop new accounts within the precision engineering aerospace industry.
We have a unique opportunity with an international, tier one aerospace manufacturer who is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to lead the charge to develop profitable business with a new customer base. The company has an enviable reputation of supplying precision components and has long term agreements in place with key customers. Key targets for this role will be to increase turnover and profitability by across a wider customer base and strategically develop the customer portfolio. This will involve developing new relationships, generating customer enquiries, submitting bids/tenders, attending industry related exhibitions and improving the company’s marketing effort. Ultimately this role will develop and implement a new business strategy.
Develop and implement a new business strategy which:
Widens the customer portfolio
- Increases the number of credible enquiries
- Increases the number of quotation/bids
- Increases sales turnover
- Increases profit margin
- Increases customer satisfaction
As Business Development Manager / Executive, you will have previously worked in a precision engineering environment supplying the aerospace sector and have a strong business development and approach to building relationships. With a proven sales record and used to developing and implementing a new business development strategy, you will have excellent communication skills and be a confident presenter. You will have an engineering or related qualification and be able to converse with engineers on a technical level to problem solve and find solutions. As business development manager, you will be used to writing tenders/bids and have a proven track record of winning new business.
