Business Development Manager
Salary: £50k basic with benefits
"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." - Thomas Edison
The above quote couldn’t be more relevant given the current circumstances that the globe is faced with. It’s a tough time for business but success is always achieved through perseverance and not giving up too easily.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be used to rejection. It’s part and parcel of the job. But, if you’re a ‘glass half full’ kind of person, you will know that throwing in the towel is the easy option. And the easy option isn’t your gig.
So, if you're looking for a new opportunity right now within the Additive Manufacturing market, which is responding rapidly to the COVID19 crisis, then you may just want a slice of what this company is offering.
Based in the South of the UK, you will be involved in defining and developing the company’s commercial strategy with regards to their AM/3D Printing equipment, that serves both the metals and polymer market.
The role will require travel (although for now, understandably this is on hold) and building and maintaining customer relationships, whilst also driving new business into the company. You will work closely with Marketing, to offer insights into certain products and campaigns, as well as working alongside the sales team too.
Ideally, you will have worked in Additive Manufacturing previously and have a good understanding of 3D printing processes and technologies. A Bachelor’s in Business would be a ideal, as well as the work ethic to strive for success, even in the face of adversity.
