What is World Class Manufacturing?
The definition can differ from company to company and industry to industry but the one I like most is that "a World Class company can compete in their chosen market and expect to win, as their processes are second to none."
Your own definition may involve statistical measures like achieving O.E.E. levels in excess of 85% or zero ppm defects or 100% OTIF or any combination of the above and more.
However you choose to define World Class, the reality is that it's tough to get there and that's the challenge my client has set for this role.
Maybe you've already achieved it, maybe you're trying to achieve it but keep coming up against obstacles from higher management who don't really believe in it.
In this role you'll have the full support from the top down and the resources of a global, multi-site manufacturing group to utilise so what's stopping you?
If you're a Six Sigma Black Belt and looking for a new challenge then please contact me to have a more in-depth chat.
