New technology brings new potential...
In this role, you’ll be focusing on designing and engineering new solutions in design, simulation, and optimization for additive manufacturing. AM process technology will need to be assessed and improved, so you will be making changes that you identify as a necessity.
As DfAM is in its early phase, you will be investigating new techniques and methods, using your analytic approach to find new ways of working. The work will be varied and you will often be at customer’s sites offering out your expertise and utilizing a methodical way of working. This will require solid time and product management skills.
Regarding the company itself, you will be implementing continuous improvements within the business, so there's no need to shy away from sharing your ideas. An honest, open working environment is promoted where you are encouraged to self-improve and develop.
You’ll have experience using CAD tools, as well as having a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. The working environment is hands-on, so you’ll get a chance to see first-hand the vibrancy of a start-up organization.
