Job Title: Electronics Engineer
Salary: DOE + Bonus, Healthcare, Pension
Location: Cambridge, Royston, Melbourn, Letchworth
The Role
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Electronics industry and will ideally have the necessary technical breadth to adapt well to a consulting environment.
Technical skills (essential)
- Analogue/digital circuit design
- Embedded systems design
- Micro-controllers, micro-processors
- Embedded software in C
- Knowledge of EU and USA legislation including EMC, WEEE, ROHS etc. and the implications
- Product development experience (should be able to demonstrate knowledge from the specification phase through design, to volume manufacture)
- Hands-on- should have strong practical skills and experience of debugging electronic systems on the bench
Technical skills (desirable):
- An appreciation of mechanical/ electromechanical systems
- Low power design and power management
- Signal processing and servo design
- DSP, FPGA, ASIC
- Power electronics
- Communication systems (CAN, RS485, LAN)
- Medical/EN60601 experience and power optimisation and management (portable equipment)

Qualifications:
- Degree qualified ? minimum 2:1 (Electronic Engineering or related subject)
- Chartered engineer (optional)
