Job Description
Lead EC&I Engineer
North Manchester Region
Contract or Permanent Role
£40,000 - £45,000 or £35 - £40 p/h (Ltd or Umbrella)
Working for a large organisation can have its good and bad points. On the plus side, you can have structure and stability but on the downside you can get isolated in large departments and lost in the crowd.
I’m working with an SME who are looking for an EC&I engineer to take the lead on new incoming projects. As with any SME you’ll have a main hat to wear but will need to liaise between departments from design through to production and also with end-user clients. This is a highly visible role in the business and will give the opportunity for you to become a key player in the organisation where your achievements will be noticed by all.
You will need to be SC cleared and have experience of designing and engineering electro-mechanical systems within the nuclear (or other highly-regulated) industry. Exposure to PLC programming would be a real plus but not essential.
If you’re thinking it might be time for a change, don’t worry if your CV isn’t up to date as I’d prefer to speak in person so please contact me on 01257 268273.
