Lead Engineer – Mechanical Design
£50,000 - £55,000 + bonus, relocation assistance can be provided.
We’ve all seen the Royal Navy advert, you know the one “if you can fix a car, you can fix a nuclear submarine”. Yeah, sounds great, I’ve just changed the tire on my Fiat Punto, let me have a crack at fixing that warhead.
As I’m sure we’re all aware, there’s a lot more training, accreditation and experience that goes into making that leap. But maybe you’re ready for taking the leap into something more engaging?
Maybe you want to Lead teams Designing the most advanced propulsion systems within Civil Aerospace? Or maybe you want to Lead Research and Development programmes for Mechanical Functions in eVTOL (Electrical Vertical Takeoff and Landing) technology? Or you may just want a change of culture, one that focuses on collaboration, leadership and progression?
If you’ve got experience with designing rotating equipment/machinery with some involvement leading and delivering projects no matter how big or small than this could be your next step.
We do require individuals who have knowledge of Design for Manufacture, who have ideally delivered or been apart of New Product Introduction and who would have a real interest in the Aerospace Industry. The client currently designs in NX but is transferring to Catia so training can be provided.
In addition to the salary, the company also provides continued career progression (this is actually written into your contract, not just a verbal promise), there is also a companywide bonus and further benefits including share incentives.
So, how about making that leap in your development? 01257 244 744.
