Lead Planner – 40-45k North Manchester

Everybody needs a Peter Taylor.

For those who aren’t as big a football fan as myself, Peter Taylor is known for being Brian Clough’s Assistant Manager whilst they were at Derby County and Nottingham Forest, winning multiple league and European titles.

Brian Clough is the more remembered due to his flamboyant and charismatic personality but without Mr Taylor doing his magic behind the scenes, Clough may not the household name he is today.

At Clough’s own admission, Taylor was the ‘goods in the back’ whilst he was the shop window.

Part of Taylor’s magic was an incredible ability to lead, plan and to make sure everyone within the football club was doing their job and to an exemplary standard.

Processes were improved because of Taylor and players and staff got better under his guidance.

As a Lead Planner at manufacturing and engineering company you have the same responsibilities and opportunity to forge your own processes and improve the workforce around you.

My client is looking for some with just that ambition and drive to lead there planning team and oversee all day to day production planning.

This candidate will have great communication skills and expertise and experience using the SAP processing system.

They’ll have experience in setting and managing KPI’s and making sure employees are meeting and obtaining their daily targets.
