There are a few select people that are the best at what they do… Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. We don’t have to argue as to who is ‘the’ best but what we can appreciate is that these four mentioned operate at the very highest level in their chosen field.
Being the best at something is an incredible achievement, and it’s something you’ll be able to relate to. You’re the ‘go to’ person, the one who knows how to do everything and you do it to an extremely high standard.
So, now that we’ve come to terms with the fact you’re extremely good at what you do, let’s get down to the finer details. You’re a heavily experienced Roboticist, and you’ll be working with a team that develop innovative technology solutions for current future applications to be used in-house. Understanding the theoretical approaches and practical implementations of robot programming is something that comes as second nature to you.
You’ll have a Masters in either Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Robotics and you’ll have a wealth of experience in robotic programming. KUKA, Fanuc, Motoman or Comau robots will be programmes that you’ve had real hands on experience with. Pair all the above with a thorough understanding of kinematics and we’re both on the right lines.
The company you’ll be working for loves innovating and has been widely recognised for its disruptive innovation and is looking at changing the whole manufacturing system, allowing smaller organisations to design and manufacture vehicles with significantly less capital and in a fraction of the time.
This merely scratches the surface of the role, but if you’ve liked what you’ve read so far, don’t hesitate to get in touch on +44 (0) 1257 268273. Don’t be put off if your resume isn’t fully up to date, get in contact.
