Role - Maintenance Engineer (Electrical biased)
Location – Commutable from Manchester, Stockport, Bolton, Warrington and
Wigan
Salary - £25,000 to £28,000

The Role-
Working as part of the engineering team, the successful candidate will provide support and optimise engineering resources in the maintenance of bespoke manufacturing equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics. This role is electrical in nature and involves fault finding with electrical equipment including plc’s to meet the needs of the business and to generate continuous improvement in cost and quality of engineering performance.
The Candidate-
The ideal candidate will be an electrically biased (but with mechanical capabilities), time served maintenance engineer who is ideally educated to ONC / HNC level. As Maintenance Engineer, you will have exposure to PLC’s from a fault finding point of view and also ideally had some experience of installing new plant equipment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the drive to deliver improvements in OEE. Good problem solving skills and the ability to get to the real root cause of issues are pre-requisites for this role, as are good communication and organisational skills.
