Role:
Reporting into the Managing Director, the position of Operations Director role is responsible for developing and implementing an operations strategy to deliver sustainable improvements delivering world class manufacturing standards to the organisation. This role will take responsibility for 260 people associates spanning Manufacturing, Maintenance, Purchasing, Planning and Logistics departments.
Key metrics within the role will be to deliver improvements in customer quality, health and safety, internal quality, delivery, labour efficiency and employee engagement.
Person:
As a proven Operations Director, you will be preferably degree qualified in a machining discipline with an Automotive background. Must demonstrate how you have delivered sustainable operational improvement to achieve world class manufacturing standards. Having a strong quality and lean manufacturing improvement background, you will have carved a career working for world class organisations and being instrumental in developing and implementing a zero defect culture. Operations Directors with experience of implementing World Class Manufacturing strategies within component manufacturing environments.
