This role could be described as a blank canvas, one where you have the freedom to support this business. Not only that, but they need someone to help them bring the company to an accredited status.
The company is working within the Additive Manufacturing sector and their plans are ambitious, so they need you.
You will need experience in lean manufacturing, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban, as well as H&S and Quality knowledge. They need you to manage the 3D printing process from quotation through to delivery with a hands-on approach. You’ll manage a small team that will increase when the new manufacturing facility is built. You’ll also get involved with the recruitment of new staff and will be managing a multi-site operation.
Ideally, you will have some experience of working within the Automotive, Aerospace or General Manufacturing industries. Experience of managing a manufacturing team is essential and achievements through continuous improvement in previous roles.
Training will be provided at the start of the role, but travel is not a significant part of the role.
