A very well established business in Lancaster who have gone through significant growth over the past few years, has achieved success by being market leaders in what they do; bespoke subsea equipment.
They’re now at the point where they need a Quality Engineer to come on board with them and help them to develop their quality systems and processes alongside the health and safety function.
What’s the Job?
One of the key parts of the job will be to write and implement standard operating procedures for their operations. So, you’ll need to be good at looking at a process, deciding what needs to happen and documenting that into an SOP. As this will be a fairly new experience for many people there, you’ll also have to train them and make sure they’re working to the procedures laid out.
On the quality standards side, the company manufactures hughly regulated equipment supplied in to Oil & Gas and Subsea industry. As the quality engineer, you’ll need to be able to research a standard then translate it through into SOP’s and control documentation.
