Role: Sales Manager
Location: Commutable from Wigan, Liverpool, Manchester, Preston and Warrington
Salary & Benefits: £50k plus bonus, car and pension
Reporting directly into the Managing Director, the role of Sales Manager involves managing key accounts within a precision engineering business. The main objective of this role is to effectively manage a sales team to drive sales and profitability forward and also capitalise on identified new business development opportunities in new and existing accounts. Other aspects of this role involve preparing proposals and developing good working relationships with established international agents to maximise sales growth. Furthermore liaison and good communication with internal departments to improve the company's market position is key to this roles success.
As Sales Manager, you will have an engineering background with a HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering. You must be able to demonstrate where you have increased sales and managed key accounts that have delivered profitable returns to the business. Experience of managing a sales strategy within the Automotive sector. Strong project management, commercial and relationship management background in an engineering market is essential for this role.
