Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer

So, the role is a Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer, and you’ll be aiming to develop an approach for optimising 3-dimensional build layout and part nesting in support of achieving printer productivity rates. You’ll also be responsible for managing distortion and error reduction activities, helping to insure part tolerance accuracy.
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be following defined procedures and processes, with an aim to help create them where needed. You’ll also be able to recommend software tools that can help to achieve production goals, as well as generating build time estimates in support of program planning and execution.
As the perfect candidate you’ll also have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, as well has having experience with applications such as Netfabb and simufact. You’ll also have 2+ years’ experience using CAD and CAM tools to support the production of 3D printed metal components. Also, having Computational Geometry or Parametric Modelling experience is a plus.
