An advanced research company based in Northern California is recruiting a Vice President of Sales to be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the sales and marketing functions across North America.
The successful candidate will ensure that business revenue goals are achieved and will work closely alongside senior customer representatives. You will ensure that you communicate a clear vision and strategy for the organization, establishing goals and metrics that drive improvement and create a successful environment where the sales team can exceed their targets.
Nurturing client relationships and driving new sales are important, as well as understanding the AM machine install base across the specified region. Driving cost reduction initiatives and improving business efficiency will be essential too.
Leading people is a key aspect of this position and you will also be involved in the recruitment and retention of staff in the North American region.
Ideally, you will have a degree in business or a technical subject with 10+ years in a senior management role and experience in a high-growth environment. It is important that you have experience and knowledge of metal additive manufacturing and a strong customer focus.
