Pre-Requisites: Previous Additive Manufacturing experience
Reporting directly into the CEO, the role of VP of Sales involves managing key accounts and developing new business within the additive manufacturing sector for a global business supplying the automotive sector. The main objective of this role is to effectively drive sales and profitability forward and also capitalise on identified new business development opportunities for the additive business unit. Other aspects of this role involve preparing proposals and developing good working relationships with established international agents to maximise sales growth. Furthermore liaison and good communication with internal departments to improve the company's market position is key to this roles success.
As VP of Sales, you will have an engineering background with ideally a degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering. You must have had previous experience of selling either equipment or powders into the additive manufacturing sector. You must be able to demonstrate where you have increased sales and managed key accounts that have delivered profitable returns to the business. Experience of creating and managing a sales portfolio within the additive manufacturing sector is a pre-requisite. Strong project management, commercial and relationship management background in an engineering market is essential for this role.
